• The Holy Royal Arch Knight Templar Priests and Order of Holy Wisdom has expanded into Cambridgeshire with the Consecration of a new Tabernacle called, “The Tabernacle of the Hidden Manna No.313” that will be meeting in Cambridge. The Grand College team came down on the Friday evening to prepare the Masonic Hall for the meeting, where 80 Knight Priests assembled on Saturday 24th, May, where the M.Ill. Grand High Priest Christopher Gavin Maiden Consecrated the Tabernacle, whilst the Deputy Grand High Priest Ian Patterson Duff, Installed the first High Pries Brian Thrower into the chair. The whole ceremony, was conducted in a quiet but dignified manner, by the Director of Ceremonies, R. Ill. Kt. Pt. Toby Pratt, who made certain that all the Knight Priests enjoyed the occasion, especially the 23 Founders who were present. After the consecration 76 Knight Priests sat down to a wonderful meal, that by the noise emanating from the tables was enjoyed by all those who were privileged to have been there, for this historic event for the District of East Anglia No. 7

  • On Wednesday 7th May at the ceremony of the Order of Holy Wisdom, VII Kt Pt Bob Riches was honoured with a 40 year Certificate from the Grand Superintendent R E Kt Pt Stewart C.L.Middleton. We felt we just had to include in this report the words from Bob Riches for this memorable occasion Many thanks for you kindness today, a complete surprise, 40years man and boy those years have gone by so quickly,when I look back I have only wonderful thoughts,the friends I have made, the places I have visited. I am sure that it is only Freemasons that can have enjoyed the camaraderie. Once again from one 84 to another lets continue our Special Friendship. Kindest regards, Bob.

  • A Celebration for 80yrs

    Grand Superintendent, Past Provincial Prior and now Past Grand Counsellor, who has Ray Clare P.G. St. B. on the left and Jonathan Whitaker P.G. Reg on the right, who is paying homage by kneeling in front of me.It was the culmination of a super day, when over 300 people sang ‘happy birthday’ in the Connaught Rooms, what an experience, and will not be repeated until I get to ninety!!!

    Dear Bro. Kts and KTP Kts, Firstly as Provincial Prior and Grand Superintendent may I wish you all a very Happy and Peaceful Christmasbecause Christmas and the birth of Christ is not affected by Covid 19 and Omicron only the way we celebrateChristmas and who we celebrate it with which applies for this year as last year. As Last year we may not see our friends and families as we would normally but we can still think of them aswe in the KT Order in East Anglia do at 5pm on Christmas Day, so something else not affected by Covid 19. I was installed as the Provincial Prior of East Anglia for Knights Templar on the 27th November by theGrand Master M. E. Kt. Paul Clement GCT and a team from London at Ashlar House, Bury St Edmunds.An office I am very proud to occupy and will assist the province in any way I can as it has been one of the bestprovinces in the Armory of Great Priory under the guidance of R. E. Kt. Stewart C L Middlteton KCT.Our thanks and appreciation go out to Stewart and Sally as we wish them a happy, healthy and safe rest.   • On Saturday 27 th November R.E Kt Colin Birkbeck was Installed as the new Provincial Prior for East Anglia at Ashlar House Bury St Edmunds by the Grand Master M. E .Kt Paul Clement GCT and his team from London. The R.E Provincial Prior appointed E Kt John Rowell as his Sub Prior and Prior of Malta.Colin Birkbeck follows R. E Kt Stewart Middleton KCT who has led the Order in East Anglia for 11 years with his Sub-Prior William (Bill) Hagger.
